· Comfortable, cool clothes – swimsuits are great; Bring things you don’t mind getting muddy · Multiple pairs of very comfortable shoes, including tennis shoes and socks; again, think about the mud · A poncho · Chapstick with sunscreen · High SPF (30 or higher) waterproof sunscreen · Waterproof insect repellant · Flashlight and lantern, and batteries for them · Cell phone and/or walkie-talkies, batteries and chargers, and a water-resistant pouch · $20 a day, bare minimum · An ice cooler with plenty of food, and non-perishable food (beef jerky, apples, crackers, etc.) · At least 15 gallons of water, some personal size bottles as well as large 2.5 gallon size · A tent and stakes · A cot · Sleeping bag and pillow · A canopy to put up near your tent · Collapsible camping tables and chairs · A grill and charcoal or gas and matches or a lighter · Wetwipes or similar products · Shampoo, conditioner and soap · A small wagon to carry ice from the vendor to your campsite · A hammer, knife and scissors · A first-aid kit with burn cream, antibiotic cream, aspirin, Bandaids, stomach remedies, etc. · A printed schedule of the acts · Toilet paper and paper towels.
